Gaza Cactus

This work was a commission of an original work to be reproduced as 8’x8’ (244 cmx 244cm) board displayed publicly in March and April of 2024, as part of the C.E Art Board Project in St. Paul, MN. Here is conversation the I had with the commissioner, Jessie Fisher, about the work. The poem, In the Endless War in the piece is by the Palestinian poet Nasser Rabah living in Gaza and translated by myself and other members of the Brooklyn Translation Collective.
